About S&S Law College

S&S Law College is a sister concern of IMI, established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Manjula Education Society which continues to be an outstanding law college in the city of Indore. Since its establishment, the college has proved itself to be a popular destination for young students who choose to study law in a systematic and creative manner in an environment which is conducive to make students attain the best of their talents.

The College boasts of an infra-structure consisting of Moot Court Hall, Lecture Halls, Students’ Bar Room, Library, and Conference Hall etc. The college has regular visitors from all over India. From Judges of Supreme court of India and the High Court of MP to academicians from law schools in India& abroad, they offer to our students an opportunity to meet and interact with them.

The college is affiliated to DAVV University and is approved by Bar Council of India.



Infrastructure

S&S Law College provides excellent infrastructure to facilitate academic as well as extra-curricular growth of the students it offers opportunities to the law student to interact with students of other disciplines as well. These everyday interactions widen the horizon and scope of the students as they themselves discover space for their own profession.



Library

S&S Law College library provides students with extensive facilities to maximize their knowledge in the field of law. It is probably the most frequently visited section of the college and most certainly the heaven for dedicated law students. Students can avail library facilities from 10 am to 5.00 p.m. For easy and prompt access all books are catalogued manually as well as on the computer. The library is wire free and students are encouraged to bring their laptops to access the internet. However computers with Internet facilities are available to Students for academic purposes upon prior bookings.

Access to online legal resources:
The library subscribes to several online journals and resources which are a must for students preparing for the moot courts. These resources train students to be aware of latest national as well as international judicial decisions. The students are also exposed to various other libraries such as the collections from the British Council and other leading institutions in the country to enable them to be equipped with the latest knowledge.



AC Classrooms

Classes are conducted by excellent teaching faculties in spacious Class rooms which are well equipped for the comfort and convenience of the students. Lifts are available to the fourth and fifth floors where the classes are held.



Moot Court Hall

Moot Court is an Integral part of any law student’s dream to make it big in their profession. Moot court is the laboratory where a future lawyer acquires and hones his/her skills of advocacy. The S&S Law College boasts of a real moot court where students practice their court etiquette.



Canteen Facilities

An excellent canteen serving Indian as well as continental food caters to the need of the student community. The canteen functions between 10:00 AM and 05:00 PM



Exposure to the Judiciary and Legal Fraternity

S&S Law College understands the need of the times and the demanding situations in which young lawyers work today. Therefore exposure of students to the best of judiciary and legal fraternity is an absolute must to enable them to be competent in their profession. Judges and legal luminaries from the Supreme Court as well as the High Courts are regularly invited to participate in the life of the College by presenting lectures, talks and discussions and as judges for the Moot Courts etc.



Placement and Services

The college has in house placement services which place students in corporate and legal firms. The College constantly strives to develop academic-industry partnership with various leading corporate houses in Indore Campus interviews are also held occasionally.



Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities

S&S Law College is renowned for its extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Regular Moot Court competitions along with debates, public speaking competitions etc., are held by the Students Bar Forum and the Cultural Committees, all headed by students. Field trips and Study Tours to Jails, Supreme Court and High Courts are a regular feature.

Our classrooms are well equipped with digital podiums, LCD projector & display screen and internet (wi-fi) access for the right approach of the students.



Auditorium

The college has a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a sitting capacity of over 300 people. The auditorium is equipped with latest state-of-the-art audio and visual facilities. The auditorium is used for organizing college functions including seminars, conferences and cultural programs.
